We went to this restaurant for lunch on Di’s birthday, it was recommended by the owner of our apartment. On May 30, 2014.
On arrival we were welcomed by an english speaking waiter. He explained the menu and the local specialities. The waiter was excellent, he was friendly attentive and provided recommendations.
We started with local cava (Spanish sparkling wine). As entree we had broad beans with jambon and a fried egg. I had a whole leg of baby lamb with accompanying fresh garden vegetables. Di had cod baked with peppers. For dessert we both really enjoyed their ice-cream cake. The food was fresh and very tasty.
After our meal, when the waiter discovered that it was Di’s birthday he ran away to bring a small gift of a souvenir trinket box. After such a lovely lunch all we needed for dinner was some fresh local cherries, peaches and pears.
We rate this restaurant 8/10.
